the path

Golf and stand up paddle boarding (SUP) may seem like an odd combination, but they share more in common than first meets the eye.

Stepping onto a freshly cut green, I’m in my own little world — a world of determination and tradition supported by years of perfecting excruciating details. Similarly, when I feel the glide of the water beneath my feet, a quiet thrill comes over me, and I’m in total bliss.

This shop is a reflection of my passion for that sacred moment when the rest of the world just slips away. Everyone should be able to experience that feeling, and we make it our job to help them get there.

Where my Worlds Collide

Challenging the best golfers in the world is one of my favorite things about the sport — I love handling that pressure on golf’s biggest stages.

There is an element of that competitiveness that I love about SUP, too — there’s always a higher wave, a new trick or a better turn. And, there are no galleries or interviews when I wrap up!

That Makes the Difference

Roots in the Water
and on the Green

A family affair

Golf runs in my blood. That may sound cliché, but it’s true — my dad was a golf pro and teacher, and my mom was a great player as well. My brother, Mark, and I spent many an hour on the course learning the game from them and spending quality family time together.

SUP is great training for any sport

I love surfing, but it started to bother my bad neck. Once I was introduced to SUP, I was totally hooked. It’s awesome for balance and core strength, and it puts no stress on the neck. SUP is great for cross-training and pushing your limits — and it sure as heck beats going to the gym.

Golf Runs in my Blood
-That May Sound Cliché, but it’s True

The Right Path

1985 was a big year for me — I turned pro and joined the PGA Tour. The journey between then and now has been full of victories, learning curves and memories I wouldn’t trade for anything.

I can’t complain — because it all led me here.

The Takeaway

Come out and see us in the Golden Isles and get all the equipment, apparel and instruction you need — we can’t wait for you to walk on water and feel everything else fade away.

Because life is too short to do anything but what you love.
